RENOVATION OVERVIEW

The renovations we tackled for Ryerson were vast, spanning several locations within the facility—our team was excited to tackle this client’s needs. Starting in the lobby, the walls, metal doors, and frames were painted, while the tile floor received a deep clean. The ceiling grid, HVAC grilles, and ceiling tiles were updated, enhancing the overall appearance.

We gave the walls a fresh coat of paint in the meeting room and installed new HVAC and electric systems. On the second floor, the sales office and breakroom underwent extensive changes. The broadloom carpet was replaced with modular carpet tiles, and a new vinyl cove base was installed.

We deep-cleaned the breakroom’s ceramic tile floors and installed new fixtures, cabinetry, and countertops. Electrical power and data were adjusted to accommodate the new furniture layout. HVAC, electric, and ceiling elements were updated as well.

The stairwell leading to the second-floor sales office received a fresh coat of paint, and we laid new treads on the steps. In the lunchroom, we oversaw the removal of old tile flooring, with the concrete polished, sealed, and finished with epoxy edge strips and vinyl cove base. Restroom toilet partitions, urinal screens, cabinets, and counters were upgraded, and the walls, metal doors, and frames were painted. The ceiling grid, HVAC grilles, and ceiling tiles were also replaced.

Old tile flooring was swapped for polished and sealed concrete in the men’s locker room and restroom. New toilet partitions, urinal screens, and locker room benches were installed. The walls, metal doors, and frames were painted, and the ceiling grid, HVAC grilles, and ceiling tiles were upgraded. The lighting was updated with new 2×4 light diffusers. Slop sinks were replaced with circular Bradley sinks.
